The Indian state of Goa is truly a round the year destination.

Tourists choose not to visit during the monsoon season, this time of year has much to offer.

The monsoon season begins around the month of June, when the hot temperatures of summer are cooled with an influx of clouds and rain.

For the next three months, rain clouds will often fill the sky and temperatures will drop, but this moisture has its benefits.

During this season, the countryside turns a lush green and plant life turns on its colors.

There are two distinct tourist seasons during which certain areas will noticeably fill with visitors.

When it comes to hanging around in Goa are Shacks.

Shacks are becoming increasingly popular with the tourists, as it is here that one can enjoy the beautiful coast of Goa, and get a tan for free.

For those who are not accustomed to the heat it is advisable to get under an umbrella for few minutes to prevented sunburn.

Located on the beach these shacks provide adequate shelter to those who might want stay away from the scorching sun and enjoy the sea breeze.

One can start the day with the breakfast then play in the waters the whole day or just laze on the beach and return to one's hotel late in the evening.

Some shacks are well quipped with beach beds, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, masseurs, etc.

These places also provide some information about the happenings around the locality.

Towards the evening just before sunset the sky fills with magical wonder, a sight that has left some spellbound.

It is a must see phenomenon for anyone visiting Goa and if one is lucky enough one might be able to see the sun being swallowed by the sea.

And to end the day one can dine at the beach at the shack of one's choice.

The Park is a home to around 380 species of birds, 55 species of mammals and 50 species of reptiles. Also enjoy the boat rides on River Manas, which flows through the Park.
